I’ve just come back to Split after an amazing little vacation. I spent four glorious days in the town of Bol, on the island of Brač on the Croatian coast.

What? You say. Vacation.  You are on a 4 month tour of the Balkans, you are already on holiday.

Yes, I am traveling, but it’s not really a vacation.  (In fact, I’ve been thinking about this very topic for a couple of weeks now. I’m in the process of sorting out my thoughts and will write more about it soon

I leave for the 8 hour bus ride to Sarajevo in about an hour so while I’m rolling along at glacial speeds through the mountains of Croatia and Bosnia here is another pretty beach picture to tide you over.
