I know it’s been radio silent around here for a while but some fun things are happening and I wanted to update you. This weekend, Norfolk Artists & Friends are having their annual group show and for the first time I am participating. The opening is tonight Friday August 8th from 5-7:30 at The Gallery in the Art Barn on the Battell Stoeckel Estate (Yale Summer School.)

The Gallery will will also be open tomorrow from 12-5 and Sunday from 11-4. In keeping with the local nature of this show (and the participants) I’ve selected mostly Norfolk images for display.  I do hope you will stop by and say hi.

If you’re not familiar with Norfolk Artists & Friends is a membership organization of professional artists living and working in and around Norfolk. Group members embrace a wide variety of visual arts, including, but not limited to, painting, drawing, printing, sculpturing, photography, jewelry, and decorative arts. With 26 artists shooing this year, there is much to see.
